I love our local zoo. We get season tickets every year. If your local you should too. Lots to see with the safari adventure, my favorite, making your trip more then worth it. I'm giving it four stars since it can't beat San Diego and Fresno doesn't offer enough attractions around...

It's a smaller zoo but the animals are well cared for and seem a lot healthier AND happier than compared to animals at other zoos I've been to. The staff is nice and the park is clean, my son loves it and I bet he'll love it even more when they finish their expansions. Can't wait...

Haven't been to the zoo in ages. Went recently with the family and it's a nice little experience. Get some good walking in too. Unfortunately with the construction, some of the more "fun" animals to see are not available. But overall it's a pretty good zoo in Fresno's backyard.
